the birthday of my eldest son 
parker turns 30 
also boy george turns 64 
34 felon man turns 79 

3 men who have been 
in my life in a big way 
all born saturday 
what r the chances really 

parker arrived and brought the light
with him - in him 
my blonde baby boy 
color seeped back in to my world 

23 years ago i met mr odowd 
in a musical he wrote - 
and i produced 
ran for only 100 performances 

huge lesson i learned 
get help 
its not a one person job
in show biz - in life 

then the felon 
never have had a conversation with him 
i told the truth about his history 
he went ballistic 

now hes nearly 80 
falls asleep often
is loathed universally 
and throwing himself a big birthday parade 

he lives in an alternate reality 
his lies become truth 
in his demented state 
he believes himself king 

cruelty is the point 
stoking fear and fraud 
plain for all to see but
his cult of followers 

so on saturday as they all turn 
a year older 
protest peacefully - 
sit down if it gets crazy 

agitators will be seen 
who sent them and why 
who stands to gain 
from all this insanity

the country we know and love
is dying -
killed by billionaire bad guys

we must end this now
