I’ve been on the Zepbound journey myself. Down 80 pounds in a year. I had to get off due to an insurance switch. My doctor is appealing their denial. It is a miracle drug. My weight was pretty normal until I had children and then I’ve carried an extra hundred pounds for 20 years. Anyway, congratulations to you for more ways than just getting your health in check. You seem lighter in more ways than weight. I believe it’s called happiness.
Happy Irish Mother’s Day, Rosie! Week 4 for me on Mounjaro and down 5 pounds. No sugar cravings, no getting up 10x a night to go to the bathroom and no side effects. Finally feel like I’m getting my life back. Never look in mirrors as I am shocked at what I see. A series of tragic events kept me in a dark place. Left Florida for the mountains of NH to find some peace. It’s helping. Just have to learn to stay off certain websites so I’m not overwhelmed by all the negativity going on. But don’t want to live with my head in the sand. I believe that there are more kind people in this world than the ugly monsters we see every day. And we will prevail!
My mother passed 15 years ago and I think of her every day she was neglectful selfish somewhat disconnected, but I forgive her and love her just as much
Beautiful Rosie. I visited Ireland for the first time last summer. We stayed in Howth. My brother-in-law’s buddy has a house there passed down from his Aunts. It’s up the hill. We did a lot of walking. I thought, this is how Irish people stay so slim. Having to navigate these hills all of the time. We were only there for 2 weeks, but I loved it so much. The trip to Belfast to go on the Black Cab’s tour, Giant’s Causeway, Cliffs of Moher… I can’t wait to go back. It was a breath of fresh air compared to the sticky heat of Ontario.
I love reading the things that you write like this. I am 8 years older than you, I’m 71. And even though I am not a mother, there is so much that you say that I can relate to. It makes me stop to think, just think. I wonder if you’re somehow going to let us see the show Ireland a.m. like you did the late late show, I’m hoping. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it if you do. Enjoy your Mother’s Day in Ireland. 🥰
Sounds like you are enjoying a perfect Irish Mother's Day with Clay! 💚
I understand your battle with weight, having been up and down the past 40 of my 66 years. Took control by going back to Weight Watchers in January when my head was in the right place. Down 18 and starting to feel a bit better about myself.... it's all part of the journey.... You have always looked beautiful tho! Believe it!
Wonderfully written as always . I remember you posting that photo from Blake’s wedding. It truly is beautiful to include your mother in the celebration. I hope you have the best Mother’s Day today, dear Rosie 💕
Happy Irish Mother's Day to you! I am happier now in my late 50s than ever before. Feeling whole and complete in our bodies is exactly what you described. It's the best feeling, isn't it!?
Happy Mother's Day Ro! I just love the place settings for all those who passed. How beautiful and thoughtful! Blake and Theresa seem like such wonderful and loving people💕💕💕. I miss a cheese toastie! I preferred mine with Branston pickle. An odd yet satisfying combo! I have it in my Amazon cart. To check out or not to check out... my constant Amazon question 😂. 💜💚💜💚🥰🥰🥰
No one writes like you, Rosie. No one has your singular voice. Straight to the soul. Thank you.
thank u laura
